Is Traci Davis, Superintendent of the Washoe County School District moving?

According to public records, a 'Traci Davis' is registered to an apartment unit in Spanish Springs. When we went to check out the property Wednesday afternoon, we found a moving crew and a U-Haul. They were emptying out the unit. 

Two boxes read, "Traci's Closet Dresses."

We asked the crew where the truck is going and they did not have an answer. We also asked neighbors if they have ever seen Traci Davis at the unit connected to her. 

"Here's the picture right here," said Landon Miller, reporter for KTVN 2 News. "Do you know who this person is?"

"I don't know who this person is," said Connor Tobin, a neighbor. "I've never seen her before."

"You know she's your neighbor, right?" asked Landon. 

"I've never seen her come out of this house before," said Connor. 

"You've lived here how long?" asked Landon.

"One year," answered Connor.

Dr. Richard Maybe has lived in the Spanish Springs complex for seven years. He gave a similar answer. 

"I walk my dog behind here seven times a day behind the apartment," said Maybe. "We've never seen anybody in or out of there. We've been here seven years."

Now, you might be asking yourself if we went to the right 'Traci Davis' house. 

Fair question. However, according to public records, a 'Traci Davis' lives in this unit. Additionally, an email listed to this property is from the Clark County School District. Davis worked in Clark County for 16 years before moving to Washoe County. 

Tuesday, Davis announced an indefinite leave of absence from the Washoe County School District for 'personal reasons.'

The district did not provide further comment Wednesday.Â
