Truckee Fire and Northstar Fire crews have contained a fire that broke out at a residence on Muir Court in Serene Lakes.
Truckee Fire Protection District says initial reports were of an explosion and fire.
Crews arrived at scene to find a two story residential structure fully involved with fire.
Use caution and/or avoid the area while fire crews are at scene.
