On Saturday, the Truckee Tahoe Airport is hosting the Truckee Tahoe AirShow & Family Festival.
Organizers say all proceeds will go to local youth organizations in Truckee and North Lake Tahoe.
The free event includes multiple performances, including a full-blown air show, a STEAM Expo, speaker forums and static military aircraft. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Truckee Tahoe Airport off Highway 267 in Truckee.

It was sent to Europe in March 1945, but it didn’t see combat. The P-51D was converted to a two-seater, so people can experience this amazing aircraft first-hand, and check this item off their bucket list!
- Barry "Bdog" Hancock brings his vibrant yellow T-6 Warbird to this year's air show for a spectacular low-level acrobatic performance. Bdog has a tenacious passion for flight, clocking in nearly 4,500 hours - a majority of those hours in warbirds.
