The U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Nevada reports a Henderson woman was indited on Tuesday for opioid drug trafficking and distributing fentanyl resulting in one person's death.

34-year-old Tianna Cordova was charged with one count of distribution of a controlled substance resulting in death, one count of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and one count of illegal use of a communication facility.

A co-defendant, 36-year-old Robert Thornburg of Henderson, was also indicted with one count of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. The two had superseding indictment charges in July 2018 for conspiring to distribute controlled substances.

In June of 2018 police obtained a search warrant for Cordova and Thornburg's residence in Henderson. They found oxycodone, hydrocodone, alprazolam, four firearms and cash at their home. As alleged, they were conspiring to distribute oxycodonce and amphetamine and in March of 2017, it is alleged that Cordova distributed a controlled substance containing fentanyl that led to an overdose death. 

If convicted, the two face up to 20 years to life in prison and a $1,000,000 fine.
