The US Marshals Service says they're searching for a woman wanted in connection with a murder case out of Michigan.

They said the US Marshals Service, Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team is requesting the public's assistance finding her.

They said 39-year-old Tamera Williams was issued a felony warrant by the 24th District Court on December 20, 2018. The warrant is for first-degree homicide, disinterring a dead body and tampering with evidence.

This is following the murder of 39-year-old David Carter in Melvindale, Michigan around September 29, 2018.

The US Marshals Service says they believe Williams fled the state in mid-October of 2018 and has not been seen or heard from since she was identified as a person of interest.

They said Williams worked in the medical field and as a travel agent and she is known to be a world traveler.

The US Marshals Service says Williams has close involvement with the Order of the Eastern Star and is considered armed and dangerous.
