The United States Postal Service says more than 5,800 employees reported a dog attack in 2020.
This can be anything from a nip or a bite that caused a postal worker to file an injury claim or tell a supervisor.
According to USPS data, Houston topped the list with 73 attacks followed by Chicago with 59 and Los Angeles with 54.
USPS didn't specify what types of dogs attacked the most just that "any dog can bite."
To help avoid any issues, USPS says owners should secure all pets as carriers approach.
USPS released the rankings as part of national dog bite awareness week which started on Aaturday.
