Prescription medications are an essential part of life for many people. In the U.S., one study estimates that nearly 65% of U.S. adults take at least one of these medicines annually. But getting a prescription takes time. It’s sent to the pharmacy from a doctor’s order, and then a patient must pick up the medicine, or arrange for a delivery person to drop it off.
