The Washoe County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the two brothers killed late Saturday night on McLemore Court in Spanish Springs.
Authorities say the victims are 29-year-old Glen Robins and his brother, 19-year-old Ryan Robins, both of Spanish Springs.Â
The Medical Examiner's Office says Glen died from multiple gunshot wounds, while Ryan died from two gunshots to the torso.
Washoe County Detectives say they were originally called to the home near Palm Springs Drive shortly before 11:30 p.m. on the report of a disturbance near the home, with shots fired.Â
When deputies arrived, they say found two deceased males outside the residence.Â
Deputies say residents of the home, including a male in his late fifties and his elderly father, went out to the front yard to check on the disturbance. The homeowners were confronted by two male adults, both unknown to them.
The residents sustained injuries as the confrontation escalated. During this time, deputies say the son shot at the two subjects, resulting in their deaths.
The father was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.Â
At this time, no arrests have been made.Â
Consistent with homicide investigation protocols, the District Attorney's Office responded to the scene and the completed investigation will be submitted to their office.
