UPDATE: The Washoe County School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously on Tuesday to hire JG Consulting to help with the search for a superintendent.

The Washoe County School District Board of Trustees on Tuesday will consider hiring one - or more - search firms to find qualified candidates for the superintendent position. 

WCSD says six firms and consultants have submitted proposals to discuss at the 2 p.m. public meeting inside the WCSD Administration Building at 425 East Ninth Street in Reno. 

WCSD says each vendor will have 15 minutes to present information starting at 2:15 p.m. and continuing through 3:45 p.m.

WCSD terminated Traci Davis' contract in July after alleged misconduct. Davis later filed a lawsuit saying that her termination was in breach of her contract.
