The Washoe county school district is hiring; they say in nutrition alone they have 55 open positions.
Lura Taylor has been a Lunch lady for the past 20 years, and loves her job absolutely, without a doubt, definitely loves her job.
“They need us, not all these kids get fed every day, not all these kids get the attention they need every day, we give them a little bit of what they need every day,” says Taylor.
Washoe County School District is looking for people with the same passion. The work schedule follows the school calendar which means weekends and holidays off, working 3 to 4 hour shifts.
As well as nutrition services the district is looking for bus drivers, custodial services and people that are interested in teaching.
“Even if you're just thinking where I might fit, call our hotline, connect with a recruiter, and lets figure out where your talents can be utilized,” says Emily Ellison with the Washoe County School District.
The hotline number is (775) 789-4602.
