Washoe County School Superintendent Pedro Martinez is scheduled today to see a mediator to try to reach an agreement in a lawsuit he filed against the school board.
Martinez was offered $25,000 to drop the lawsuit, but Martinez declined.
In July, school board members relieved him of his superintendent duties after a closed-door meeting, then reinstating his pay the next day. In response he filed two lawsuits against the board.
