Wednesday Marks First Day Of Fall With Autumn Equinox

Summer is over and fall is officially here.

Wednesday was the autumn equinox, when every place on earth gets roughly twelve hours of sunlight and twelve hours of darkness.

In other words, it's the astronomical start of fall.

Some people think summer ends with Labor Day.

Some meteorologists have their own calendar for the season -- some saying fall actually started weeks ago.
