Out with the old, and in with the new. Â From blight to beauty, we are learning more about the project set to replace the former Kings Inn in Downtown Reno.
Thursday, Basin Street Properties, the owner behind the project, released more information on their new project. ‘3rd Street Flats’ is a 94 unit apartment complex that is replacing the Kings Inn.
Basin Street says it will feature new high-end appliances, custom kitchen islands, quartz surface countertops, a pool and deck, a fitness studio, and underground parking. Â There will also be approximately 9,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.Â
If you’ve driven by the location, you have seen crews already make big progress on the project, most recently, a new paint job. Basin Street Properties is collaborating with Bentar Development on the project.Â
The Kings Inn has been empty for over 30 years. The apartments are tentatively projected to open summer of 2016. Â
