NV Energy Investigating Smithridge Park Power Outage

NV Energy restored power to more than 5,000 people after a car crashed into a power pole in Spanish Springs Friday night. 

The Nevada Highway Patrol says a Fiat crashed into a power pole at 445 Calle De La Plata in Spanish Springs. 

Deputies say the crash knocked out power to thousands of customers north of Eagle Canyon. 

The extent of the driver's injuries are unknown.
