Charter Communications says a global outage is affecting its business phone service. Â
Late Friday morning Charter tweeted: "We are aware of the interruption in services and apologize for the inconvenience. We are working diligently to resolve the issue."
Charter representatives say the outage started around 9 a.m. There's no immediate word on what caused the outage.
