The Washoe County School District (WCSD) has received word of a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 at Diedrichsen Elementary School.
WCSD is working in partnership with the Washoe County Health District to conduct contact tracing and a number of individuals will be excluded from the school for 14 days. Those individuals are being contacted by the Washoe County Health District and the school.
The school continues with enhanced cleaning protocol per the Washoe County Health District and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines.
Due to privacy concerns, no other information will be shared regarding the individual with the positive case or any individuals who were excluded.
