The East Fork Fire Protection District says crews responded to a house fire near Mission Street in Gardnerville on Friday.
Officials said the fire was contained to the back before it took over.
They said there was significant damage to the house and some smoke and water damage.
Officials said the cause is under investigation, but it appears to be accidental.
They said there were no injuries.
