The Lyon County Sheriff's Office says crews responded to a fire alarm at the Eden Research building near the Dayton Airpark.
Officials said someone reported seeing smoke in the area.
They said there were three firetrucks and three rescue units on scene.
Officials said the building was evacuated as a precaution.
