If you saw smoke near the Reno-Tahoe International Airport early Friday, it’s because a de-icing truck caught fire. 

No one was hurt, but the engine fire did send up a large plume of smoke, around 5:45 a.m. 

The fire was knocked down quickly, on the ramp beside the C Concourse. 

No flights were affected.

There’s no immediate word on why the fire started.Â
