A new lane shift will change how drivers merge at a busy North Valleys on ramp.
The widened Reno spaghetti bowl ramp is the final major construction component of the current phase of NDOT’s Spaghetti Bowl renovations,
Police called it a "swatting" event.
Overnight closures start tonight on I-80 in downtown Reno and in Sparks as NDOT undertakes two separate road repair projects.
Update, October 7, 2022:
The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is continuing construction and paving operations on the Sparks Blvd. Project.
Authorities urge drivers to slow down while in wet weather.
The improvements were part of construction of the first phase of NDOT’s Spaghetti Bowl renovations.
For the next two weeks, grinding and paving work will require interstate ramps at various locations to be closed overnight.
Previously, drivers traveling from Second Street to southbound I-580 merged into Mill Street on-ramp traffic.
