UPDATE: The Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR) says the delay in unemployment benefits is expected to be fixed in 48 hours.

Unemployment Insurance (UI) claimants are urged to remain patient and expect the issue to be resolved soon.

 


Original Story: Nevada's unemployment agency may be delaying benefits to some claimants. 

The Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation says it is aware of the issue and is working to resolve the problem as soon as possible. 

DETR says in a statement, "we know the people who are eligible for funds need these benefits immediately."
