The Reno-Tahoe International Airport says Delta Air Lines will increase its existing nonstop service from weekly to daily between RNO and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the world’s busiest airport, in spring 2020.

The daily Atlanta service will begin May 1 on Delta’s 199-seat Boeing 757 aircraft.

“This flight is a victory for our entire region,” Marily Mora, President/CEO of Reno-Tahoe International Airport, said. “Customers have filled the seats when Atlanta was just seasonal, and our Regional Air Service Corporation has worked with our air service team to make it daily. We are proud of our strong relationship with Delta Air Lines and the support they have shown our community.”

The new daily flight is scheduled to depart Reno at 7 a.m. and arrives at 2:18 p.m. Service from Atlanta departs at 4:30 p.m. with arrival in Reno at 6:38 p.m.
