The site of the former Park Lane Mall finally has a name!
Once finished, the Reno Experience District will feature artisan shops, dining, art, entertainment, lifestyle-driven hotel and office and living space.
RED, as it will be known, will also feature an open-concept market hall, two-acre central park with an amphitheater and large LED display, and multiple rooftop lounges.
The developers, Lyon Living, have been working on the project along with Reno Land Inc. since early last year.
“We knew Park Lane Mall was beloved by the people of Reno, so it was important to us to create something iconic and spectacular that everyone could enjoy,” said Frank T. Suryan Jr., Chairman and CEO of Lyon Living. “Our vision is to create an arts and culture epicenter in Reno, a true destination for unique experiences.”
The master-planned community will include:
- 1,300 Luxury Apartment Homes
- 70,000+ square feet of Retail Space
- 382,000 square feet of Custom Office Space in the Tech Campus
- 170-Key Hotel
- Market Hall with Co-working Loft
- 2-Acre Park
Emory, the first luxury apartment building to open at RED, is expected to have apartment homes ready for move-ins January 2021, with pre-leasing starting as early as October.
The park, the main Welcome Pavilion, and additional units are expected to deliver Q1 of 2021. Lyon Living is currently hiring for various positions. Visit www.redreno.com for more information.
