Eldorado Resorts announced Monday, it reached a deal to acquire Isle of Capris Casinos for about 1.7 billion dollars. to significantly expand their properties.
The company's CEO said the deal lets them greatly grow their revenue. "We're going from 7 properties to 20 in 10 different states, our revenues will double," said Gary Carano, Chairman and CEO of Eldorado Resorts, "we're acquiring a company in Isle of Capris that's very well managed."
Eldorado Resorts currently operates 7 properties in 5 states including the Eldorado Casino, Circus Circus and Silver Legacy in downtown Reno.
This deal expands their portfolio to 20 casinos in 10 states.
