The Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is hosting a back-to-school vaccine event on Friday.
The event is from 12 to 3 pm at the Sun Valley Neighborhood Center located at 130 West Gepford Parkway.
Vaccines will be available for children ages 5 to 18.
Qualifying criteria include children ages 5-18 who are uninsured, Medicaid-eligible or Medicaid-enrolled, American Indian or Alaska Native, or underinsured. Parents must be present and, if possible, provide shot record information. Out-of-state residents must show proof of vaccination to qualify.
