Elko County Fire crews were called to a vehicle fire on I-80 near mile marker 328. It was a truck belonging to a fire crew traveling through the area.
It happened just before 12 p.m. Wednesday.
Due to the potential for the fire to spread into the wildland, Elko Interagency Dispatch was requested.
Elko County Fire assisted the two firefighters and took them back to Elko so they could make arrangements to get home.
There were no injuries.
