Former Eldorado Security Guard Pleads Guilty to Involuntarily Manslaughter

Stefan Johnson

A former Eldorado Casino security guard faces up to four years in prison next month after he pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter.

Stefan Johnson made the plea in front of a judge last week.

Johnson, who worked at Bubinga, was arrested last year and charged with 2nd degree murder after investigators say he used an excessive amount of force against Victor Victoria-Acevedo in December 2013.

Acevedo passed away after being taken to the hospital on the night of the Santa Pub Crawl.
