Frozen Pipe Bursts at Apartment Complex Near U.N.R.

A broken water pipe caused temporary flooding at The Republic apartments near the University of Nevada, Reno Sunday afternoon. 

Firefighters say a pipe inside one of the units burst due to freezing temperatures, but the complex's manager says the flooding was cleaned up, after water seeped into the hallway and elevator.Â
