Governor Brian Sandoval has declared October 10, 2015 Craft Brewing Day in Nevada, via a proclamation signed September 30th.Â
The proclamation states that Nevada has a rapidly growing and thriving craft brewing industry that has earned national recognition. The industry has created hundreds of high quality jobs, the proclamation continues, and is consistently "engaging in charitable causes and supporting business development efforts to create a better place to live, work, and play."
The Fall Harvest Festival, which takes place Saturday, October 10th at the Aces Ballpark, is mentioned as a statewide celebration of Nevada's craft brewing industry. The event is benefiting the American Cancer Society as well as the Nevada Craft brewers Association. More than 25 breweries from around the state will be attending.
