The mysterious hero who used a narwhal tusk to help subdue the London Bridge attacker last month has been identified as a British civil servant.
Darryn Frost told Britain's Press Association that he and others tried to keep knife-wielding attacker Usman Khan from killing more people when the Nov. 29 attack started.
It was an act of bravery as the extremist claimed to have a suicide belt he could detonate.
Frost praised the two victims who died in the attack and the injured who refused treatment until the more gravely wounded could be taken care of.
The extremist, who had served prison time in the past for terrorism offenses, was shot dead by police.
