The Inaugural Basque Fry is now sold out. The August 15th event will feature several 2016 GOP presidential candidates in Gardnerville.
The Morning in Nevada PAC along with Nevada Attorney Adam Laxalt are hosting the event, which will be held at Corley Ranch in Gardnerville.
The 1,500 tickets went on sale in mid-June, and the last ticket was sold on August 5th.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled with the enthusiasm and excitement that the Basque Fry has generated,” Laxalt stated. “This concept, centered around Nevada history and heritage, really took hold across the state. My heartfelt thanks goes out to our special guests, the event sponsors, our hosts at Corley Ranch, our team of volunteers and to all the ticket holders. My wife and I cannot wait to see everyone in Gardnerville on August 15th.”
Former Nevada Governor and U.S. Senator Paul Laxalt regularly hosted Basque lamb fry events throughout his career in Nevada – and in Washington, D.C. His grandson, Adam Laxalt is continuing the tradition with this inaugural event which will include co-host and Nevada State Senator James Settelmeyer, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), businesswoman Carly Fiorina, Dr. Ben Carson, former New York Governor George Pataki and former U.S. Ambassador John Bolton, along with U.S. Congressman Joe Heck (R-NV) and U.S. Congressman Mark Amodei.
