The Nevada Department of Public Safety says its Major Crimes Unit helped arrest a man on child pornography-related charges earlier this month. 

Authorities say Raife Edwards was booked into the Carson City Sheriff's Office Jail on $20,000 bail on November 20th.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday, December 6th in the Carson City Justice Court. 

Edwards was arrested after a month-long investigation with the help of Department of Homeland Security.Â
