A man is in custody after vandalizing a Fernley sub station of the Lyon County Sheriff's Office Wednesday.
38-year-old Rick Leon of Fernley was arrested just after 3 p.m.Â
Officials say Leon entered the sub station and approached the secretary who was sitting behind a glass window.
They say when the secretary asked how she could help Leon, Leon responded with threats.
Leon then threw a five pound disc through the window towards the secretary and left the station.
The disc missed the secretary, but glass shards showered onto her and she sustained minor injuries.
Deputies found Leon nearby and took him into custody on multiple charges.
