The Nevada Department of Public Safety, Investigations Division (NDI) says they have arrested a suspect for sexual assault of a child.
They said in January, the Major Crimes Unit of the NDI received a request to assist with a sexual assault investigation from the Pershing County Sheriff's Office.
They said the victim in the case was a minor under the age of 14 in Pershing County.
On March 6, they said after a two-month investigation lead to the arrest of Justin Bates for alleged sexual assault, lewdness with a minor and capturing images of the private parts of another person.
They said Bates is being held at the Pershing County Jail on $752,5000 bail.
