...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT MONO...MINERAL...DOUGLAS AND
LYON COUNTIES THROUGH 200 PM PDT...

At 1200 PM PDT, strong thunderstorms were developing across Mono,
Mineral, and southern Lyon counties. These storms will increase in
coverage northward through the afternoon.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, penny size hail, heavy rainfall,
and blowing dust downwind of dry sinks and playas.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Mammoth Lakes, Bodie, Chalfant, Crowley Lake, Benton, June Lake,
Bridgeport, Lee Vining, Twin Lakes, Toms Place, Mono Lake, Coleville,
Topaz Lake, Hawthorne, Yerington, Wellington, Smith, Oasis, Benton
Hot Springs, and Mason.

* WHERE...A portion of western Nevada, including the following area,
Greater Reno-Carson City-Minden Area. This includes the Bug and
Stallion Fires.

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in rock, mud, and debris
flows in and near active fire perimeters, steep terrain, and poorly
drained urban areas.
