The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who was found dead in the Truckee River in Reno on Friday.
The ME's Office says 71-year-old George Manchester died on scene, near Riverside Drive and Booth Street around 10 a.m.
The cause and manner of death are pending investigation.
Authorities say Manchester is believed to have been homeless.
