A mother of six who drowned after falling off a boat on Friday night in Lake Tahoe was identified Monday as a Texas woman.Â
The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Daisy Rogers of El Paso was riding in a boat from South Lake Tahoe to Emerald Bay when she fell off into the water.Â
Tahoe Douglas Fire say the father was wearing a life vest when he jumped into water. While he was in the water, the boat drifted away with children aboard.
They were ultimately rescued unhurt around 10 p.m.Â
The incident is currently being investigated by the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Coroner’s office. At this time, deputies say there is no evidence of foul play and there is no criminal investigation.
