Forward progress has been stopped on a small brush fire in the Mound House area and crews are working to mop up the fire.
Carson City Fire Department, Central Lyon Fire Protection District, Bureau of Land Management and the Nevada Division of Forestry were all on scene to attack the fire mapped at about 2 acres.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Avoid the Mound House area while crews work to mop up the fire.
