Post-election protests continued in Washington D.C. Saturday night, resulting in at least four people stabbed, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department says.
The four stabbing victims are reportedly in critical condition. Two police officers were also transported from the protest area with non-life threatening injuries according to sources.Â
The protests took place outside the Supreme Court building and involved 'Stop the Steal' protesters and counter-protesters. Most individuals were not wearing masks.Â
The mayor's office reports at least 23 people were arrested at the protest. Six were arrested for assault on police officers.Â
