NDOT: Car Fire Temporarily Slowed Traffic on I-80 East Near Patrick

Nevada Department of Transportation says a car fire caused some traffic backup on I-80 east near Patrick, east of Sparks early Thursday morning.

Nevada Highway Patrol says there's stop-and-go traffic out to USA Parkway Extension. It says they are not seeing any crashes in the area at this time. 

NHP says traffic may still be slow going through Sparks. 

There's no word on what caused the car fire which happened just before 6 a.m. Thursday.
