Nevada Implements Bighorn Ewe Hunts to Manage Growing Populations

The Nevada Department of Wildlife is offering a $10,000 reward for information on illegally stocked northern pike in a lake south of Ely.

In 2015, NDOW says it spent more than $250,000 to remove illegally stocked northern pike that killed off the trout fishery at Comins Lake. Since then NDOW has introduced trout and largemouth bass to the lake.

Northern pike are not native to Nevada.
