UPDATE: The DMV is now processing all online and in-person transactions following a slowdown and partial outage Monday and early Tuesday.
----
The Nevada DMV says it is currently unable to process any driver's license or ID card transactions due to a technical issue.
The DMV says online services, kiosks and emission station renewals may be slow or unavailable due to a communications issue.
The DMV had an upgrade this past weekend and affected services.
They say IT staff are trying to resolve the issue as fast as possible.
The DMV is still open, it just may take a little longer to complete a transaction.
The agency can process registration and title transactions.
They are also handing out return passes good for the entire month of May, before 3 p.m., in Reno for customers they cannot help.
The DMV is also pre-checking documents for return visits so they do not have to spend time doing that on return visits.
