The Nevada Legislature held a hearing on a bill that could reintroduce electric scooters to the Reno area.
AB 485, sponsored by the Assembly Committee on Growth and Infrastructure, redefines what electric scooters are and includes several amendments that would outline regulations, fees local authorities could enforce and other matters.

The Nevada Legislature would require a two-thirds majority vote for the bill to pass.
