After a season that saw many Nevada all-time records broken, the Wolf Pack track & field team has added three newcomers to an already skilled roster.
One of the newcomers added is Alisha Pawlowski, from Tuttlingen, Germany. Pawlowski will now be the fourth Wolf Pack track & field athlete from Germany. Pawlowski specializes in the high jump event and has a personal best of 1.78 meters.
Another newcomer that will join the team is Kylie Burton, a mid-distance runner from Antelope, Calif. Burton and junior Brooke Carson are the only two on the roster that are from Antelope, Calif. and have attended Antelope High School. Her top times are 56:49 in the 400-meter, 2:16.36 in the 800-meter, and 44.43 in the 300-meter hurdles.
Lastly, Elizabeth Shaw from Chattaroy, Wash. and Riverside High School will join the team. Shaw, who is a distance runner, has top times of 18:18 in the 5000-meter and 14:59 in the 2.5-mile event.
Nevada is set to kick off the 2020 indoor track & field season this weekend when it travels to Boise, Idaho on Saturday for the Bronco Invitational.
