Nevada Women's Fund Salutes Women of Achievement

The Nevada Women's Fund honored more than 70 women on Thursday for their personal and professional achievements and contributions to the community.

The Annual Salute to Women of Achievement Luncheon was at the Grand Sierra Resort with keynote speaker Adrianne Haslet, a survivor of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. The professional dancer wowed the crowd with a ballroom dance on her prosthetic leg.

Norma Webster was inducted into the Fund’s Hall of Fame.

Channel 2 News was an underwriter for the event. KTVN produced the sold-out luncheon and Kristen Remington, Landon Miller and Andi Guevara emceed the event. We want to congratulate our own Tiffani Rankin for being one of this year’s honorees. 

The Nevada Women’s Fund started in 1982, supporting women and families through education scholarships.Â
