Many people were excited and waiting on the sidelines for Air Force One this morning.
For some, this was their first time seeing the plane in action.
With a crowd of people around the sides of the airport waiting for the president to land in the famous Air Force One plane, some say no matter how many times they see the plane, it never gets old.Â
"We are standing out here so excited Air Force One is here and the president is here and I'm so excited to be standing here watching it and I'm hoping to see him take off right over us," said Pam Bivens.
"It's exciting that Reno's been included with the presidential election and support for Reno,"Â Kathleen Davis added.
Libby Daley, another person waiting for Air Force One, said, "I got to see him land and then take off too, and the plane is extraordinary it's just awesome just to see it."
A couple people waiting said they've only seen a presidential plane in a museum, not in person, let alone in action.Â
"We've seen the one that Kennedy and Johnson used so we know there's been a lot of different variations, and this is the most recent just the technology involved in it the size of it so we're very excited to see the latest Air Force One,"Â Brad Davis mentioned.
For those who have seen Air Force One land before, they said it's always exciting.
Libby Daley said, "It never dull. It's always exciting to see that plane."
Some think having Air Force One here is a symbol that they're taking the state of Nevada more seriously.
"It's always fun to be included in the presidential election, so we feel honored that he's coming in for a visit,"Â Brad Davis said.
"I'm glad that a president comes to Reno to see Reno it's nice to know that we're acknowledged,"Â Libby Daley added.
Some people said they don't care which president is on the plane, they say it's just a fun experience.
"Just waiting to see a takeoff and hoping to get a great picture," said Pam Bivens.
