The City of Fallon just opened a brand new ice rink called "Fallon on Ice", located at 55 West Williams Ave.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony and inaugural skate session was held the morning of November 19.
The community was invited to check out the rink for free and celebrate its grand opening.
The rink is 100 feet by 40 feet.
VIP tents and various party package options are available for purchase. There will also be regular public skating sessions.
Mayor Ken Tedford was there and gave a speech at the ceremony, as well.
The event features local vendors including food trucks, a boutique, and a coffee truck.
Fallon on Ice also plans to give back to the community with promotions in November like Shop Small Saturday and a canned food drive.
