Please be patient on SR447 and CR34. There may be traffic back-ups because of the delay in opening. Drive safely and obey all traffic laws and speed limits as you travel to BRC.

The Burning Man Project is asking participants to turn around and stay in Reno. They've closed the gates to Black Rock City due to rainy conditions.
"It is not safe to wait on the side of the highway on the way to BRC," organizers wrote on the project's bulletin board. "We must also be respectful of our neighboring communities in Wadsworth, Nixon, Empire, and Gerlach - do not park in these communities while we wait for the Gate to reopen."
Organizers say they expect the rain to let up by early morning or mid-afternoon, and they say they will open the gates once it is safe to do so.
Burner Express Busses departing from San Francisco are delayed by two hours, and busses departing from Reno are on hold until organizers are confident that it is safe to drive on the Playa.
