The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office says two people died in a shooting on August 21st.
Deputies were called to 3000 Oakwood Drive in Cameron Park, California around 9 p.m., where they found one woman and a boy inside with gunshot wounds.
The woman died at the scene and has been identified as 29-year-old Marissa N. Divodi-Lessa.
The boy was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
Investigators identified 47-year-old Darin McFarlin, who is a CalFire employee, as a person of interest. He has been booked into the El Dorado County Jail on two counts of homicide.
