Lanes have reopened after a jackknifed big rig caused traffic to be turned around on I-80 eastbound near Farad on Saturday afternoon.
Traffic was turned around at Hirschdale for a time following the crash, according to a Facebook post from CHP - Truckee.
Heavy rain continues in the area, and roadways remain wet and slick. People are asked to use caution while driving.
